Karachi University closed for 3 days after blast


Karachi University closed for 3 days after blastKarachi: Controller Examination has postponed all the papers of today (Dec 28).
Karachi University will remain closed for three days. This was announced by the Registrar of the institution.
Registrar UoK said that examinations cancelled which was due today.
Examinations has also postponed in Federal Urdu University which was due on Wednesday.
The students also staged protest against the security conditions in the University.

Univeristy of Karachi has postponed papers scheduled on Dec 29Karachi: Administration of University of Karachi (UoK) has postponed all the exams scheduled to be held on December 29, however the university will remain open on Wednesday, spokesman said.

According to the spokesman of university’s administration, the decision to postpone papers was taken due to security concerns.
New date for the postponed exams will be announced later, spokesman added.
Earlier, the bomb exploded outside the university’s central cafeteria wounding at least six people.

The pass out students of the institute are not only competing in the province but have shone in the country.
These similar views have been expressed by the Deputy Commissioner Quetta Abdul Saboor Kakar, while addressing the Pak-Turk International Schools and Colleges annual prize distribution function held on Thursday in Art Council.
He said that Pak-Turk education system rendering valuable services for the promotion of education in Balochistan, adding it is a proof of everlasting and eternal friendship between the two countries. He further stressed the need to enhance ties between the brother nations of Pakistan and Turkey.
Promotion of education is imperative to meet the modern world challenges as well as for the construction and development of the country. Students must focus on education to cope with the modern challenges of this era.
On the occasion Principal of the Pak-Turk School and Colleges Ahmet Kester said that privileged to address on the Annual Function of the Pak-Turk International School’s Junior Section Quetta.
He said that we as the Pak-Turk International Schools & Colleges believe that improving the education of the individuals from every aspect is the most effective way to reach our target for a peaceful future.
We have submitted ourselves to give a new lease of life to the education in Pakistan through educating the youth with universal and sublime values of unity and positive enlightenment, he said.
While addressing he said that In 7 cities of Pakistan by running 18 schools giving education to more than 5000 students, we are sure of every step that we take on this most effective path of education to serve the nation of Pakistan.
Ahmet Kester said that after the successful completion of 6th Inter- School Math’s Olympiad, Brilliant students actively participated and they have been awarded the cash prizes and certificates.
Later, the Deputy Commissioner Quetta Abdul Saboor Kakar distributed the prizes among the Position holders of Inter-School Math Competition and the successful students of the Pak-Turk Schools and Colleges Quetta.
